Fire Station Tours
Our 30-minute station tours offer an inside look at daily firefighting operations, including the living quarters, work areas, apparatus bay, and vehicles.
These general public tours are open to groups of up to 30 people, including chaperones.
(Please note that birthday parties or events cannot be hosted at the fire station.)
Site Visits and Events
Site Visits and Events are available to schools, businesses, and youth groups (ages 3+). An Engine Company will come to your location for a fire safety talk and Q&A session.
Presentations are informative and age-appropriate, tailored to engage audiences of all ages. Site visits are available any day of the week, subject to scheduling availability.
Morning visits should be scheduled after 10:00 a.m., and afternoon visits after 1:00 p.m.
Minimum of 2 weeks notice is required.
Ride-Along on a Fire Engine
Adults 18+ may apply to ride along with one of our Engine Companies. Ride-alongs are offered seven days a week, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., schedule permitting.
Each person may participate once per calendar year. This ride-along provides a firsthand view of firefighting in action, from responding to calls to fireground operations.

Once submitted, our team will reach out to confirm availability and finalize your reservation.

What to Expect
- Unplanned Interruptions: Fire crews may be required to respond to emergencies during your visit. If crews are unavailable when you arrive, please call (925) 454-2361 after 15 minutes to reschedule.
- Best Times to Visit: The best time to schedule a Station Tour or Site Visit is after 10 a.m. (mornings) or after 1 p.m. (afternoons); advance planning of 2–3 weeks helps ensure staffing.
- Ride-Along Limitations: Available to adults 18+ for one ride-along per year, dependent on staffing and operational demands.
