Thank you from all of us at the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department (LPFD) for visiting this website. We hope you will take a few minutes to browse through it and discover some very useful information about the department and ideas on how you can be better prepared. The LPFD has been serving the communities of Livermore and Pleasanton for over 29 years and is dedicated in providing exceptional customer service. As you explore this website, be sure to check out the world-famous Centennial Bulb. This lightbulb is located at fire station six in Livermore and has continuously burned for 120 years!
The LPFD is an “All risk” department, meaning we will respond to the needs of our communities, regardless of the nature of the incident. Our team of professional firefighters are trained to solve a wide variety of problems while working towards a positive outcome.
Our values were written by the members of the LPFD. They are:
