Our post trains at the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Training Center at 3301 Busch Road every 2^nd and 4^th Sunday of the month, a full day and every Wednesday evening at one of the ten Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Stations with the opportunity to have engine companies help teach our post members

• SCBA Donning and Doffing
• Search and Rescue
• Auto Extraction
• Rope Rescue
• Saws/Ventilation
• EMS
• Specialty Classes: Hazmat FRO, Confined Space Awareness, LARRO

Explorers daily activities may include cooking and eating with crews, exercising, helping with station chores, responding to structure fires, and much more.

In addition, Explorers may work with The Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department on public relations events such as “Fill the Boot”, “Toys for Tots”, “Hook n’ Ladder Run”, and “Fire Safety Expo”.

The Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Explorer Post #933 expects commitment and attendance. To be an Explorer in our post attendance is a must and nearly every drill training day must be attended. Above all else the Explorer Post prioritizes safety for ourselves and others.

Anyone between the ages of 16-21, who is interested in Fire Service or pursuing a career in the Fire Service may apply.
